Terrapin Beer and
Hittin' the Note magazine are proud to present the Second Annual Terrapin
Jamfest Tour
HOT MUSIC FOR A COLD WINTER
An 18 show tour featuring over 18 different bands with Macon's Moonshine
Still headlining every night!
Georgia's best beer and Georgia's hardest-rocking music magazine are a
natural combination for good music and good times. "What we wanted to do
was take that summer festival atmosphere and vibe and keep it alive during
the winter months," says Terrapin co-founder John Cochran. "We had
so much fun last year, we can't wait to do it again!"
The Jamfest tour will feature a dizzying array of music. From the bluegrass
of CX-1 and Shanti Groove to the eclectic styles of SeepeopleS and New
Monsoon, to the headlining act of the tour - Georgia's rock-n-roll jamband
Moonshine Still, Jamfest is sure to please any music fan. "These are
some of the best young bands in the South, and it's going to be great to see
some of the combinations we've put together," says Rob Johnson of
Hittin' the Note magazine. "With a line-up including both established
and up-and-coming artists, people are going to be amazed by what they're
hearing. Hittin' The Note is honored to sponsor a tour with this level of
musical quality."
Besides great music and great beer, there will be prize giveaways and
contests every night. Prizes will include a Terrapin Gift Pack, free
subscriptions to Hittin' the Note magazine, CDs and DVDs of the performing
Artists and more!
The time after holidays can be the toughest part of the year for many
charities, but Jamfest wants to help fill the gap. A portion of proceeds from
every Jamfest event will be donated to worthy causes, including Financial Aid
for Dave Gesualdo's (bass player: Mountain of Venus) Cancer Recovery and
Local Food Banks in the cities in which the Jamfest Tour will stop.
Much Thanks to 2G Management and Degy Booking for putting this tour together!
